1. Let’s start with how did Tuk Tuk Franschhoek begin? 

A need was identified for the transferring of tourists during their stay at Franschhoek. Co- incidentally without knowing about each other, two companies started delivering services at the same time. These companies merged at an early stage. The services were gradually extended to include wine tours as well as other packages that have been added under the new management of Karen McCallum.

2. Why did you choose Tuk Tuk’s as the vehicle to complete your wonderful wine and historical tours in Franschhoek? 

They are the perfect vehicle to hop around town on and in and out of the estates. They are also the only tuks in Franschhoek and wanted to do something different.

3. Its clear to see you live in a beautiful area with wonderful landscapes, do you happen to have a favourite view point on any of the tours you offer?

Our packages & tours have been carefully designed with the guests in mind. Our Hop on Hop off service allows guests to spend as much time as they need at an estate thus allowing them the time to experience the true essence of Franschhoek.

4. Could you tell us what differentiates Tuk Tuk Franschhoek to other possible competition?

Yes, there’s none. Tuk Tuk is the only service in Franschhoek that offers guests various opportunities in experiencing Franschhoek on their own time as well as any transfer within the village is less than 2 Euro.

Yes most definitely, Tuk Tuk Franschhoek will be expanding the current number of Tuks in Franschhoek as well as expanding outside of Franschhoek.
