How do I check if a particular date is available before I buy a gift voucher?

If you want to purchase a gift certificate and book a date at the same time, please use the Contact Us form above or email info@experiencedays.co.za so we can check availability for you.

I've started the checkout process but it hasn't given me any dates, when do I choose the date I want to go?
Everything purchased through Experience Days comes as an open-dated gift voucher, valid for three years so the recipient can book a date within that time. If you'd like to buy a gift voucher and book a date at the same time, please contact our customer service team to check availability.
How do I buy an experience gift voucher for more participants?

If the particular experience you're buying allows it, there will be an 'Add Extra Participants?' drop-down above the Add To Basket button.

Frequent Delivery Options & Email Confirmation Questions


How long do Experience Days gift certificates take to arrive?

Experience Days gift vouchers are sent instantly to the email address entered during checkout. If the voucher doesn't arrive immediately, please check junk and spam folders.

I haven't received my redemption confirmation email, where do I find it?

If the redemption confirmation hasn't gone into a junk or spam folder, you can also access it by logging into your customer account and clicking Purchase History. Alternatively, please contact our Customer Service team and we can re-send it to your email.

Frequent Voucher Validity Questions


How long are Experience Days gift certificates valid for?

Experience gift vouchers are valid for three years from the purchase date, so please ensure the certificate is redeemed, booked and attended within that time. Extensions of the validity are not permitted.

Can I use my gift voucher on the expiry date?

The gift voucher is deemed invalid on the date it expires, so you will not be able to redeem it online. Please ensure experiences are booked and attended prior to the expiry date.

My gift voucher says the experience is no longer available, what do I do?

Occasionally activities are discontinued or providers decide to stop trading, which is unfortunately outside of our control. In this instance, all vouchers are fully exchangeable so you're welcome to pick another activity on ExperienceDays.co.za. The voucher value can be used towards multiple experiences, multiple participants on the same experience, or topped up for an activity of a higher value. Please remember the expiry date of the voucher will remain the same.

Frequent Activity Restrictions & Insurance Questions


How do I know the particular restrictions on an experience?

Every experience page has a Requirements section that will outline restrictions such as age, height, weight, licences and anything else that may be applicable.

Do the Supercar Driving Experiences include insurance?

For drivers aged under 21, a R500 Collision Damage Waiver must be purchased on the day of the supercar driving experience. For drivers aged 21 or over, the damage waiver is optional.

I have an Experience Days gift voucher, how do I book a date?

Type in your Redemption Reference under the Redeem Gift section of the website, then carefully read the experience information and restrictions before clicking Book This Experience. You will then receive an email with the activity providers' contact information and your unique booking reference code.

I don't want to purchase an Experience Days gift certificate, I just want to book an activity on a specific date. Can I do this?

Yes, if you use the Contact Us form above or email info@experiencedays.co.za with your preferred activity, date, and number of participants, our customer service team can check availability for you and make a reservation.

The activity provider is asking for an 'EX code', what is this?

The EX code is generated upon redemption of your gift voucher, which you'll need to complete prior to making a reservation. Vouchers can be redeemed on the website here

I'm booking a customised corporate day for a client, can you please contact me with options?

As a gift voucher site rather than a booking agent, we'd advise contacting the activity provider directly for bespoke corporate events. If you're looking to book a regular group session, please let us know which activity, how many people, and your preferred date so we can check availability.

Frequent Payments Questions


What payment options are available to purchase an Experience Days gift voucher?

To purchase a gift voucher online you can pay via debit or credit card, or via bank EFT. If you choose to pay via bank transfer, the gift voucher will be sent once the payment clears.

I need a Gift Voucher for tomorrow but want to pay via EFT, will I receive the voucher in time?

EFT payments can take up to three working days to process, so we wouldn't recommend this payment method if you need the voucher immediately. Gift vouchers are emailed out as soon as the payment clears.

Can I pay using PayPal?

Currently we do not accept PayPal payments.

I have a credit balance on my account, can I use this to buy a gift voucher?

Currently account credit can only be used towards the redemption of another experience, which will expire on the same date as the original voucher that the credit remained from.

Frequent Voucher Redemptions, Exchanges and Extensions Questions


How do I redeem my Experience Days gift voucher?

Head to ExperienceDays.co.za and click Redeem Gift. Type in the Redemption Reference found on your gift voucher and read the information carefully, then click Book This Experience. You will receive an email with a unique Booking Reference beginning with EX, and the contact details of the activity provider so you can make a reservation directly, quoting your EX Booking Reference. Please note bookings must take place before the voucher expiry date.

Can I extend the validity of my gift voucher?

No, Experience Days gift vouchers cannot be extended past the three year validity.

How do I exchange my experience for something else?

Provided your gift voucher has not already been activated, you can exchange it for another activity by typing in the Redemption Reference here, and clicking Exchange This Experience. By using the location, price and activity filters, you can find the perfect experience and redeem your voucher. If the chosen activity costs more you can pay the additional fee, and if it costs less you'll have the credit remaining on your account to use towards another experience. Please note the expiry date will remain the same.

I'm purchasing a gift voucher for someone else, do I create an account under my details or theirs?

At the purchase stage you would create an account using your details, so you receive the order confirmation. The delivery information can be either your email or the recipient's email, then they can create an account using their own details when redeeming the gift voucher.

I've forgotten my password, how do I log-in to my account?

If you click the 'Forgotten Password' link on the log-in page and enter your email address, you will receive an email to reset your password. This is an automated email so please check your junk and spam folders if it does not come through immediately.

How long are Experience Days gift vouchers valid for?

Experience Days gift certificates are valid for three years from the date of purchase. Activities must be booked and taken within this time.

My voucher has expired, what can I do?

Experiences must be booked within the validity of the gift voucher, after which they can no longer be extended, exchanged or redeemed. Please email our Customer Service Team with your redemption reference so we can check for you.

Frequent Lost Voucher Questions


I accidentally deleted my Experience Days gift voucher email. How can I replace it?

If you purchased the gift voucher, you can log-in to your account and view the order under your Purchase History. If you are the recipient, please contact our Customer Service Team and someone will locate the voucher to re-send.

I printed out my gift certificate but now I can't find it, what do I do?

We'd first advise searching your emails for the original gift voucher, so you can print it out again or redeem it online. If you no longer have the email but you purchased the voucher, you can log-in to your account and find the order under your Purchase History. If you didn't purchase the voucher, please contact our Customer Service Team and someone will respond right away.

Frequent Refunds Questions


I've changed my mind about a purchase, can I have a refund?

Provided the gift voucher is still within 14 days of purchase and has not been activated, yes you're entitled to a refund via the initial payment method. Once vouchers have been redeemed, no refunds can be made.

My voucher has expired, can I get a refund?

Vouchers must be redeemed and the activity taken within the validity of the voucher, once the expiry date has passed vouchers cannot be activated, exchanged, extended or refunded.

If you made a booking directly with the experience provider, you'll need to contact them to enquire after their cancellation policy.

What do I do if I can't attend my experience due to injury?

Depending on the activity provider's policy, you may be able to reschedule your experience. Please contact the company directly for more information.
