Stretch your legs and enjoy one of the area’s best trails with this 2-hour Robberg Peninsula Hiking Experience. Benefit from all the expertise of your professional guide as you take an easy to moderate stroll through a landscape vibrant with natural wonders and wildlife.
Situated 8 kilometres south of Plettenberg Bay, the Robberg Peninsula is a protected nature reserve and World Heritage Site. A variety of birds and mammals make their home on the rocky terrain, whilst the surrounding waters are abound with dolphins, whales and sharks. During the hike, you can listen out for the tell-tale bark of lazing Cape fur seals and watch dassies scurrying through the undergrowth. You’ll cross paths with cautious antelope and spot clawless otters, or mongooses, if you’re especially lucky. Ornithologists will be delighted by the colourful array of birdlife – including Cape robins, Cape white-eyes, red-winged starlings and orange-breasted sunbirds. What’s more, your friendly guide will be on hand throughout to draw your attention to less obvious – though no less fascinating – features of the native flora and fauna.
