If you're looking for an original way to spend quality time together, this private shooting experience could be just the thing. Give clay pigeon shooting a go in the stunning grounds of Lourensford Wine Estate, and enjoy a three-course picnic with beer and wine.
Even if you've never held a gun before, the team of friendly, qualified instructors will have you firing confidently in no time. You'll each have 25 shots in which to improve your aim - and shatter the flying targets! Most beginners are able to hit three of five clays during their very first session! All the necessary safety equipment is provided, and your instructor will be on hand throughout to offer one-on-one guidance. When the last shot's been fired, you can sit down to a delicious three-course picnic, which includes two bottles of Lourensford wine, two SAB beers, soft drinks and a Biltong platter. Finally, you're free to explore the rest of the estate - from its wine-tasting centre and coffee roastery, to the market and art galleries.
