Meeting at your given location, the instructor will provide you with a wetsuit, surfboard, leash and wax, before going over the outline of the lesson. You'll start on the beach practising the various body positions and movements, including the all-important 'pop up' that will get you standing on the board, before heading to the water... Yes it will be cold, but as long as you keep moving you'll be fine! The professional instructor will be on hand at all times to ensure you're constantly improving and staying safe, giving hints and tips to grow your confidence and have you riding those waves. We guarantee you'll be signing up for more lessons by the end!

Beginner specific 'soft' surfboards will be provided. Regular surfboards are available for those with more surfing experience.
The location of the lesson will depend on the swell and wind forecasts, as well as the tides and bathymetry.
If these are not deemed suitable, the experience will be rescheduled.
