Located in the town of Hartbeespoort surrounded by the Magaliesberg mountains, the Sanctuary is just a short distance from the famous Crocodile River that stretches for 1000km over four provinces. On arrival at the centre, friendly staff members will greet you and run you through the first part of the day; the Elephant Interaction. These beautiful beasts are trained with positive-reinforcement techniques, meaning they're completely comfortable with visitors and will remain relaxed as you touch them, feed them, and walk trunk-in-hand round the sanctuary. Following your educational experience with the elephants, you'll move onto the Monkey Sanctuary for an enjoyable tour of the facility - just watch out for the pick-pockets!

This is an adult ticket. Child tickets for those aged between 4 - 14 can be purchased here.
Children under the age of 4 can attend free of charge. Small children must be accompanied by an adult.

You're welcome to spend as long as you like at the sanctuaries, starting at either 8am, 10am or 2pm.
