Active individuals with a taste for adventure will love this Full Day Tubing Experience, on the Storms River. Venture deep within Tsitsikamma National Park and challenge yourself with a unique combination of water-level activities.
The group will convene in Storms River Village, before transport is provided to the start point. You’ll be kitted-out with wetsuits, helmets and – of course – your hard-wearing inflatable tubes. The day’s route will depend upon the water-level. Most expeditions will travel up the lower section of the Storms River – employing a variety of different techniques and reaching areas inaccessible by other means. You’ll enjoy pool-paddling, swimming, tube jumping, bouldering and optional rock jumps of up to 8 metres (for the bold among you!). Depending on the water-level, there may also be short pour over and shoot rapids to tackle. In particularly high water, the trip will take place on the upper sections of the river where you’ll pass aptly names rapids, such as ‘Rock n Roll’, ‘Double Trouble’ and ‘The Rollercoaster’. Wherever the day takes you, you can be sure to find thrills aplenty and nature unspoiled.
