Meeting at a central Cape Town venue, the tour guide will provide you with hybrid mountain/city bikes, helmets and snack packs, before setting off through the cobbled streets of colourful Bo-Kaap. Along the route you'll enjoy such delicacies as Malay fish curry and traditional Bobotie, as well as sweet confectioneries like Hertzoggie or Koesister, plus locally made biltong. You'll also learn the history behind the delicious sparkling fruit juice Appletiser, which is not widely known as being a South African drink! As well as the stops for food, the tour guide will entertain you with interesting stories and facts of the area as you cycle through Green Point, De Waterkant, and the V&A Waterfront, taking in the vibrant sights as you go.
